Happy Thursday y’all!
We have been dying to share the interior of our store with all of our sweet friends and family. While I have snapped a million photos with my iPhone – they certainly did not do the space justice in any way. Yesterday, one of our sweet photog friends – Ashley from White Rabbit Studios – came by and captured some simply beautiful shots of the space.
We have so many people to thank for helping us get our space to the place it is today! First, we really need to thank our sweet dad. He is an architect and truly worked with us at all hours to make it wonderful. His creative mind and ability to create more than we could ever imagine was amazing. While we have seen other projects of his come to life, we have never been involved in the project and we enjoyed every second. We were also super impressed and think anyone who is in need of an amazing architect should call him (Jock Leonard at Leonard Design). At no time in our lives have we better understood the amount of stress working in the building industry entailed. So, thanks dad for helping us with this project and for working so hard for us throughout our whole entire lives. I never once worried about anything as a child because you were doing the worrying for all of us – we truly are forever indebted! Second, we need to thank our precious Uncle Joel who did the interior of the space. We are so impressed at how things turned out. I know along the way you were ready to kill us and, honestly, at times you probably should have just done it…but thanks for sticking with us and helping it transform into a place where a bride can truly see herself in her perfect gown for the first time. We also need to say a big thank you to Dave Slyman. I know you were tired of us calling and asking a zillion questions, but you put up with us and were completely right on how everything would work out. We are so lucky to call you a friend and not just a landlord. We also need to thank our sweet significant others for moving all of our furniture into the space on midnight the day before we opened. It was insane and I never want to experience it again, but thanks for making us laugh instead of cry. Finally, thanks to the sweet brides who made our first week amazing. Thanks for bearing with us as our nerves were out of control and for being some of the sweetest and easiest brides to work with. We absolutely can’t wait to see what is in store for White Dresses Bridal Boutique and the wedding industry in Huntsville.
Without further ado, here is the unveiling of our quaint little Alabama bridal shop.
Hope you love it as much as we do!
XOXO,
Ella & Kara Leigh
