Happy Saturday lovely ladies! Bridal market is in full swing and we are so excited we just had to share some of our favorite new finds and get your feedback.
Day 1: We started our first day of bridal market on Friday with a very bumpy airplane ride to the City! We were so excited when we landed and headed straight to our hotel to get ready for the JLM Press Show. The JLM Press Show is always such an amazing experience – showcasing the gorgeous new collections of all of the JLM big brands, including our favorite JLM line Hayley Paige.
Hayley Paige was nothing short of extraordinary again this year. She shared stunning gowns from her newest collection that were innovative and interesting. This year she had studs, leather, and fringe in the collection – something we have never seen any others in the bridal industry attempt and Hayley pulled it off beautifully.
Day 2: Our second day of bridal market started with a tasty breakfast at the Standard Grill, which is one of our favorite breakfast locations in the City. After our breakfast, we headed to visit Sareh Nouri at The London Hotel’s Penthouse Suite.
Sareh Nouri never disappoints. She always provides gorgeous lace options for brides who want traditional and classic with a twist. This season, she definitely outdid herself. The laces were as extraordinary as ever and the stunning silhouettes were perfection! We are bringing many gorgeous Sareh gowns home with us, but for now – check out this sneak peek!
Our second appointment was with Haute Bride. Lindsey always creates stunning jewelry pieces and we are excited to be bringing quite a few different earring and necklace options home with us. We also picked up a couple of headpieces, two veils, and two stunning belt options.
Next, we continued on the accessories train and visited with Liv from Enchanted Atelier. Liv’ always creates gorgeous jewelry and headpieces that have a vintage and ethereal look to them. We are bringing home quite a few headpieces and two pairs of stunning earrings from Liv this season.
After a busy morning full of gorgeous goodies for our brides, we headed to eat at our favorite Thai restaurant in the City – Room Service. It was as tasty as always and provided the perfect substance to help us make it the rest of our busy day.
Following lunch, we headed to the runway show for the Amsale Group – which includes two of our amazing designers, Kenneth Pool and Amsale. Kenneth Pool walked first and showcased some stunning fitted beaded options that we can’t wait to see up close tomorrow. Amsale had a really strong season, with many offerings we are looking forward to bringing home to our Southern brides! We will see both Amsale and Kenneth Pool up close tomorrow during our appointments with them.
We headed straight to our Hayley Paige and Blush appointment after the runway show and found so many lovely options. Hayley is creating a custom pageant gown for Kara, our owner, for the upcoming Miss Alabama USA pageant and we were so excited to hear about how it was progressing (look for photos of her gown this November). We had tons of options from Blush and are still trying to determine the perfect gowns to bring home. We have shared a couple of photos below and would love to know what our lovely brides think!
Hayley’s main line had many options as well. We are pretty set on what we are bringing home to our Huntsville bridal shop, but we would still love your feedback! Let us know what you are thinking about the photo below!
To wrap up the day, we did a quick run through of the Knot’s Couture Show. The Couture Show hosts many gorgeous designers and we have an appointment to go back to one special friend on Monday. We will let y’all know how that goes when we arrive.
Now, we are all back in the room – snuggled up and watching Auburn and Mississippi State. The moral of the story? You can take the Southern girl out of the South, but you can’t take the South out of a Southern girl! Happy GameDay Y’all!
